Plans and usage
How Morbium's daily budget works, where to see your usage, and how background tasks and your own API keys fit into the limits.
The built-in Morbium Auto model is included with your plan, up to a daily budget. This page explains how that budget works and where to track it.
Daily budget
Your plan gives you a number of messages per day on the built-in model. A couple of things make this simple:
- One prompt is one message. When you ask for something, Morbium may make many model calls behind the scenes to design and check your work. That whole exchange counts as a single message, not one per call.
- The window rolls. The budget is a rolling 24-hour window, not a midnight reset. A message frees up 24 hours after you send it.
Higher plans get a larger daily budget.
See your usage
Open Settings and the Usage tab. It shows:
- Your current plan.
- How much of today's budget you have used, as a meter, with the time until the next message frees up.
- Totals for today and the last seven days.
Background tasks do not count
Morbium runs small background chores such as naming sessions and summarizing long conversations. These use a separate, lightweight model and have their own allowance, so they never eat into your daily message budget.
Your own key is unlimited
When you bring your own key, requests go straight to your provider and are billed by them. That usage does not count against Morbium's daily budget at all, and it does not appear in the Usage tab, because it is your provider's billing, not ours.
Upgrading
If you need a bigger budget, upgrade your plan from the app. Your new limit applies right away.
